Carl started playing music professionally in college while studying business and accounting. After graduating with a business degree, he went to work for FGG until his band was signed to a national recording contract in 2001. Carl toured the country extensively and had several successful radio singles, all the while working for FGG on his days at home until moving to Nashville in 2003. The band disbanded in 2004 and Carl took a job in A&R at EMI Music in Nashville. Throughout his time in Nashville, Carl also focused on songwriting as well as doing business management for producers, artists and entertainment professionals. In 2005 he and his wife Kristin moved back to Tampa to help start Relevant Church where he is the Creative Arts Pastor and Finance Director. They now have two daughters, Aubrey and Adelie and live in Tampa, FL. Carl’s expertise and experience allow him to give a unique perspective as he works on special projects, as well as, planning and coaching for FGG.
